William Bartholomew Party Organising (“WBPO”) takes the security and privacy of the personal information we hold on our clients and contacts extremely seriously.   WBPO follows strict security procedures in the storage and disclosure of personal information in order to prevent unauthorised access.

WBPO holds personal information on our contacts and administration database either because of work we have undertaken or are currently engaged in, or because we believe that our clients and contacts may be interested in receiving information from us about our business and services.   The information WBPO holds will include contact details and the history of our client relationship.

WBPO will only collect information from you when necessary to communicate with you, or to ensure we can provide you with the information or services you request from us.  WBPO will only share your data with our employees, contractors and agents, where necessary, to fulfil a valid purpose, in line with your original agreement with us.

Third Party Service Providers

WBPO uses third party service providers to help us to administer certain activities on our behalf, such as sending out Newsletters and Christmas eCard emails.  WBPO may share personal information about you with such third-party service providers to the extent necessary for the sole purpose of enabling them to perform services on our behalf.

Your Choices regarding Marketing Correspondence

You may opt out of receiving marketing related correspondence from WBPO by clicking on the “Unsubscribe” link at the bottom of our marketing related emails or contacting us directly at events@williambartholomew.com.

The Rights You Have Over Your Data

You may request a copy of the personal data WBPO holds on you by emailing us at events@williambartholomew.com.   To enable us to do this we may require proof of your identity.    We will provide a copy of the data we keep about you within 15 working days.  There is no charge for this.

You can request that we remove any personal data we hold about you. This does not include any data we are obliged to keep for administrative, legal, or security purposes.

Any information you provide will be held securely and in accordance with the Data Protection Act 1998.

Additional Information

If you give us personal information about somebody else, we will assume you have their permission to do so and their data will also be subject to this policy.

Our WBPO webpages contain links to other websites. Please be aware that WBPO is not responsible for the privacy practices on these sites.
